NEW REV.IO PSA FIELD SERVICE APP: HERE’S HOW IT WORKS

We are thrilled to announce the release of our new Field Service App, which is now available for iOS and Android users who utilize our hosted Rev.io PSA solution. Our Rev.io experts have been working hard developing the Field Service App, which allows field-based technicians (for clients working in a hosted Rev.io PSA environment) to access the minimum, essential PSA functions that will allow them to successfully complete work for the day, whether they have network connectivity or are working offline. 

Here are the 9 key features and benefits of our new Field Service App: 

  1. Real-time Access:

With the new Field Service App, you can view the accounts, contacts, tasks, and service orders in your hosted PSA instance at any time, accessing the essential information you need when and where you need it. 

  1. Track Time:

Your technicians can easily log travel and work hours using the time tracking features available in the new PSA Field Service Application. 

  1. Update on the Go:

With the Field Service App, you can add important details to service orders and tasks as you work, instead of waiting to add them when you get back to the office. This enhances efficiency and helps ensure that no key details are forgotten or missed. 

  1. Work Offline:

The Field Service application allows you to use cached data to work offline—viewing task details and service orders for the current day—and sync updates when you’re back online. Connectivity issues don’t have to get in the way of your technicians’ productivity ever again! 

  1. Sync When Connected:

Those changes your technicians made while working offline? No need to do anything manually to get them to sync. All offline changes automatically sync once you regain network access. 

  1. Agenda:

Easily view and edit your tasks for the day from the app’s Agenda. Add additional tasks as needed and make changes as your day progresses in a convenient single pane of glass view.

  1. Timers:

The app comes with built-in timer functionality. You can use this feature to track your technicians’ travel and work hours effortlessly and accurately.

  1. Password Keeper:

With the Field Service App you can access every password you have encrypted in the Password Keeper directly from the app, enhancing connectivity to your Rev.io PSA instance and any affiliated logins you might need while on the go. 

  1. Complete Work and Complete Task:

With these app-based features, you can accurately time and complete all tasks assigned to you and create journal entries to capture insights more accurately in the field. Have a service order that’s not ready to be completed? Use the Complete Task button to mark off items on a checklist that are finished while the project is still in progress.
